Jesus GOD In Person
He talked like God
The things attributed to God he claimed for himself.
He that has SEEN me has seen the father (John 14:9).
He that HEARETH me heareth him that sent me (Luke 10:16)
He that DESPISETH me despiseth him that sent me (Luke 10:16)
The WORDS that ye hear I speak not of myself but the father that dwelleth in me he doeth the WORKS
Show us the Father Jesus replied have I so long been with you and yet thou hast not known me, how sayest then shew us the Father?
He Jesus is not just a ‘resemblance’ of the FATHER or in ‘appearance’ having external qualities as the Father. He is the Father. He was not just a relative of God neither was God his relative but he who is the ‘visible representation’ of all of God made visible. He is nothing that God isn’t! No part of him is not God. He is substantially God and essentially God. God in essence and God in substance and God in presence. That is God in person, character and origin. God before the World, God in the World, God after the world.
For who in the heaven can be compared unto the Lord? God’s angels praise him, and only him; since there is none in heaven or earth to be compared to him. (Psalm 89:6). Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? (Exodus 15:11-15). ..I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, .. (Isaiah 22:21)
