Dont let your GET AND GO be GOT UP and GONE
Don’t let your GET AND GO be GOT UP and GONE…..(Acts 14;27)…
Then some Jews arrived from Antioch and Iconium and won over the crowds. They stoned Paul and dragged him outside the city, presuming he was dead. 20But after the disciples had gathered around him, he got up and went back into the city. And the next day he left with Barnabas for Derbe. Strengthening the Disciples
They preached the gospel to that city and made many disciples. Then they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch, strengthening the souls of the disciples and encouraging them to continue in the faith. “We must endure many hardships to enter the kingdom of God,” they said.
Paul and Barnabas appointed elders for them in each church, praying and fasting as they entrusted them to the Lord, in whom they had believed.
Paul was laying down dead,, stoned by the elders, imagine that you go to preach a revival and the elders stone you for preaching the word of the Lord. “then they dragged him out of the city taking him to be dead” (v19) HOWBEIT AS THE DISCIPLES STOOD stood round about him, HE ROSE UP…. went to the city and EXHORTED the disciples there to CONTINUE in the faith.. (V22).
Can you imagine this?
It’s enough to have the local church against you, yet Paul stood up, I like that, when others knock you down, Stand right on Up. Don’t play dead, don’t lie in self pity, don’t get mad and don’t quit, but STAND UP. Yes you have to make a stand! Paul refused to quirt the ministry instead he counter-attacked by telling the brothers “stay in the ministry.”

The answer to your dilema, find someone to encourage, there’s plenty of folks that need encouragement, you don’t have to be called and specially anointed to encourage. but you do have to have the drive and audacity to GET BACK UP! move on and shake the dust off your feet and Continue preaching Jesus
