The Gospel Preached Then the END?

Q. Could you explain “The GOSPEL preached to every creature then the end will come.”A.The end will come when the gospel has been preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations (Matt 24). “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:14).The disciples preached the gospel to the then known world. “And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” … And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen” (Mark 16:15, 20).”This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant. But you must continue to believe this truth and stand firmly in it.” (Col 1;23)“Their sound has gone out to all the earth, And their words to the ends of the world”” (Romans 10:18).Here’s another argument: Many use this verse to inform us about the end of the world. note however The scriptures here talk of the end of an “age” not the end of world “cosmos.” Jesus was talking to them “their” age, not our age. Their time, not our time. Note too, that the gospel cant be preached to every creature for each new generation brings to earth those who have never heard the gospel hence the preaching of the gospel should go on continually. Finally the “end” refers to the “age of the law.” In Jesus day and the apostles time we see this age ending, with Calvary and the whole new salvation not based on works and religion but on Christ and his redemptive work.Image by Gerd Altmann from Pixabay
